THE IMPORTANCE OF OPTIMAL MOVEMENT IN FITNESS

Optimal movement involves moving in a way that is both efficient and effective. It helps individuals conserve energy, reduces the risk of injury, and ensures they perform at their best.

To achieve optimal movement, individuals need to focus on several key areas.

  1. First, they need to prepare their bodies for the training that is necessary for physical development and good technique (coordination). There are basic building blocks of optimal movement that are necessary for injury free and enjoyable training. This usually involves working with a coach or trainer to assess specific areas for improvement, before engaging in demanding training for a job or sport.
